Some thoughts from Psalm 119
I have considered my ways and have turned my steps to your statutes.
It was good for me to be afflicted so that I might learn your decrees.
The law from your mouth is more precious to me than thousands of pieces of silver and gold.
Your commands make me wiser than my enemies, for they are ever with me.
I have more insight than all my teachers, for I meditate on your statutes.
Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light for my path.
Direction for our lives sits waiting for us … to open the Word … and follow our reading with our thoughts and actions. Blessings!
