Psalm 56: 3 and 4
When I am afraid, I will trust in You.
In God whose word I praise,
In God I trust; I will not be afraid.
What can mortal man do to me?

God is our refuge and strength, an ever present help in trouble.
Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea,
Though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging.
In the book of Mark, chapter 5: Jairus came and fell at the feet of Jesus … his daughter was dying … he begged Jesus to heal her. As they walked, men came and told Jairus that his daughter was dead … there was no point in bothering Jesus …
Verse 36 – Ignoring what they said, Jesus told the synagogue ruler, “Don’t be afraid; just believe.”
Is there something in life today that we need to ignore people and believe Jesus for?
